Bringing you musical excellence for more than sixty years
A long and rich journey has guided the St. Louis Civic Orchestra to its pivotal point today – and the beautiful music continues. A collaboration of fine musicians under the guiding hand of Artistic Director Edward Dolbashian produces polished and sophisticated performances.
The orchestra provides an opportunity for professional as well as skilled amateur musicians to practice weekly and give quality performances during the season, thus enriching the cultural life in the greater St. Louis area.
The St. Louis Civic Orchestra's new concert home is the William D. Purser Center on the campus of Logan College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield. The dazzling modern architecture of this sophisticated hall and its comfortable, modern seating and roomy stage make this spacious auditorium the perfect venue for the audience and orchestra alike.
In the 2011-2012 season, the orchestra will perform music by such masters as Brahms, Prokofiev, and Sibelius. Each of our concerts delivers a delightfully diverse array of wonderful music. We invite you to attend our concerts, subscribe for the season, and become a contributor.
